Injuries / Wounded People

Start with this

  • Use /999 - With the following format:

PD Call - Incident - QTY - Postal

Incident = Stabbing/GSW/RTC/Unknown

  • Go to NHS channel on your radio - WAIT 5 seconds
  • Say "PD to NHS"
  • Wait for a response before communicating, they might be in an active situation.
  • Once acknowledged, Ask if NHS have an Ambulance (box) available for that call.

If they do not, proceed the best you can without them, if they do, proceed to the next step.

  • Wait for NHS to arrive, perform injury assessment in the meantime.

Injury Assessment

  • Check pulse via /me

If no pulse - Begin chest compressions aka CPR - Do not give mouth to mouth under any circumstances, continue chest compressions.

If pulse - Continue assessment

  • Look for injuries / Bruises / Cuts / Bleeding / Trauma signs

If they are bleeding - Stop the bleeding with pressure on the wound OR using a bandage gauze from the first aid kit.

  • Check for concussion

Ask how many fingers you are holding up - If they have double / triple vision - Possible concussion

Ask if they feel sick / nauseous - Possible concussion if they do

If you get zero response from any of the above steps - They are potentially failing to roleplay.

Await for NHS to give medical judgement on a person. If a person "Respawns" while in PD or NHS custody - Clip it and report it to staff.
