Threat to life / Hostage situations

1. Call for additional units - State where it is
2. Focus on protecting the citizen at risk, even if it means the suspect escapes
3. Do not place yourself into danger - If needs be stay in your car and pull back.

Bladed / Offensive Weapons

1. Call for additional units with nearest postal/location
2. If you are not taser trained - Do not confront - Stay back and safe.
3. If taser trained, identify yourself as police, order them to stand still
4. Remember the recharge time of taser, so choose shots wisely
5. If outnumbered, stay back and safe.

Shots Fired / Firearms Incidents

1. The area is a HOTZONE - Do not enter until declared safe by armed response units.
2. You can stay just outside the area to keep eyes on vehicles
3. Try to prevent citizens entering a high risk area by blocking the road

If taken hostage and radio is taken - Go off duty

If they take your police radio - This means they have taken your tracker - Use your interaction menu to go OFF DUTY - If your bodycam is physically taken from you then any footage recorded after the point it is taken is unsuable in RP.
